Carter - Top Fuel Parts. Company

Easy to install, great price. The replacement price was $7-800. Took me 30 minutes to swap out 2 fuel fittings and 3 nuts.

Pros
  • Electric Fuel Pumps
Cons
  • Crumpled

I need to return the defective pump

The pump makes noise and trips the breaker after about 10 seconds of operation. I just installed this while assembling parts to replace everything in the fuel system on this boat.

Pros
  • Fuel pumps and accessories
Cons
  • No instructions

One of the few that is designed for operation from 6 volts.

I have had several pulse pumps and although I had a very good filter in front of them the reliability was poor. This pump costs a little more, but I expect a longer lifespan. If this fails prematurely, I'll go back and remove some stars. For now, however, our 1929 Franklin Sedan is happy!

Pros
  • Fuel system
Cons
  • Minor things

We used this in a 48 Dodge 1 tone pickup that still runs on 6v. It works pretty well and solved some of the problems we had with cheap "built-in" micropumps. It leaks a lot and works fairly well, but I would recommend an electrical relay and extra vibration isolation if possible.

Pros
  • Spares
Cons
  • Problem

NO FLOW PUMP

Although the Revain description says it is a flow pump, the mechanical pump on the engine did not work at higher RPMs and the pump was off due to the resistance in the line caused by the electrical tank Pump. I wrote to Carter and their tech team immediately called me back and said this pump was not rated for flow. They sent me a diagram showing a simple workaround that I can add for my application. These are two tees and a check valve that are added to the line that bypasses the pump…

  • So far so good
