Worked best in cartridges

I've waited a week to post this after installing the unit. It is easy to install and works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier. Very important

That was great. for faucet parts

However, spray those old locknuts and fasteners with WD-40 the day before or you'll never get them off. Before you begin, be sure to watch the installation video on YouTube. Be careful not to press on the large round lock nut or you will have to replace the entire faucet.

Water was only warm, low water pressure

No problems installing, maybe a little difficult to put back on. When it got really hot, the water was just warm, not hot enough to produce steam. I also noticed a drop in water pressure. I replaced it with another brand and the water got hot again, the water pressure got better too.

Updating the date is NOT GOOD. - Cartridges

UPDATE NOT GOOD Perfect fit will be updated in 6 months. Do yourself a favor, order a brass nut to hold it in place. NOT GOOD. Even with the temp on the valve set to its hottest setting, it only comes out warm and there is a flow restriction on the hot setting versus the cold setting. Return for refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Only stopped the dripping for a day

This is an update of the original review I wrote when I first installed the product a little over a week ago. I really wanted to give this product a good review but it only stopped my dripping shower for two days. I'm not sure why. I figured I didn't install it properly as the hot water wasn't as warm as the original I was replacing. At first it seemed good value for money but having to replace it again I have to conclude that it is not. I would not recommend this product.

Delta is no longer under warranty - their lifetime warranty requires a lifetime warranty to receive the stated warranty

Delta said they would ship me this warranty part as I am the original owner but never did. 4 months later I'm still waiting for my warranty cartridge. Delta sent me the hood that came with this unit within a week. Item purchased and repaired. The lifespan of these cartridges is 5 to 6 years, even with maintenance to clean and replace the rubber seals. It appears that Delta's design/use with this cartridge requires constant replacement and they are no longer worth their item.
