If you want to break your neck every time you walk around the kitchen, I recommend these "non-slip" rugs. I put them down and after an hour passed and ended up staring at my ceiling. They immediately went out the door and into the trash can.

I love these rugs - they add a pop of color to my kitchen that it so badly needed! However, they are a lot smaller than I expected - my fault for not measuring, but eventually I will have to replace them with larger ones. Slightly more expensive for this size.

I was hesitant to buy these thinking they could be made cheaply. So glad we bought. They have what looks like little daisies on their backs so they don't slide on the floor. The upper is soft, feels a bit like felt but is actually a micro weave. They are easy to vacuum and keep their shape and color when washed. We have a large dining/kitchen area and have replaced many of the carpets in this area with these. My mother liked them so much that she bought them for her kitchen.

They are perfect for my accident needs. They're low so I don't step into the corner when I'm walking around the kitchen. They do slide a little but definitely don't slip on carpet and don't pose a fall hazard. Although they need to be carefully replaced, sometimes it's very easy to pull them out for sweeping.
