Works great and even holds longer boards (8ft) quite comfortably

Works great and holds longer boards (8ft) quite comfortably. The only downside I see is that it would be pretty easy to steal, all anyone would have to do would be take your seat off, and also the weight of the boards tends to rotate your seat and mount, which tends to do so results in you having to reconfigure frequently.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Excellent shortboard stand

Works great and easy to assemble. A simple assembly and disassembly system on the mounting bracket that sits on the seat post would be better. Then it will be easier for you to detach the handlebar to ride a bike without a handlebar top. At this point you will need to remove 4 screws completely from the bracket to remove the rack for boardless riding. Fix it 5 stars.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Surf stand exceeds expectations

We live on the beach and we surf regularly. Before we got this surf stand, I always had the problem of awkwardly carrying the surfboard under my arm when steering. This posture is like a dream. Literally put the board on the rack and go. Ease of installation. Outstanding craftsmanship. It also works when riding without a board and it seems like it's not even there. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Carvers!

So Awesome Brah the best in the sport

I've wanted one of these surfboard bike racks for a very long time and finally bought it. I can't believe I've waited so long. WOW! That makes life a lot easier. Being able to steer the bike with two hands instead of one is much safer and less of a hassle, especially when you have to ride upwind. So easy to put on, you probably don't even need instructions. I would highly recommend anyone to take a local break.

Great product, easy install

I have to say this system is great, I ride my bike from deep in the Palolo Valley to Wakes and the surrounding area (those of you familiar with Oahu). on my bike right on the road and i fly over bumps and potholes with no issues, i have a bit of wobble and minimal traction but nothing you cant handle. The only problem I see is those damn tweak thieves. the two hinges that actually hold the board in place fit into the groove and can be easily removed. Now a thief with a set of tools (they exist)

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Power outlet required

Great for cycling

I also love their bindings that you attach to the back of the bike which tend to leave marks on your board if overtightened or tail sanded. I've had them for 2 months now and they haven't left any marks on my board or rubbed my cock. :D One downside is that no matter how tight I set my post, the weight and wind from the rack and board will topple my set/post. Easily fixable when stopped, but PIA when driving. It's not enough to be a real pain. To update; I actually found a way to solve theโ€ฆ

How to look local instantly.

I bought a Carver surfboard bike rack on a whim to take with me on a two week surfing adventure in New Zealand. It really wasn't much of an adventure, with just enough surf to keep us entertained at one of the many breaks on the easy bike ride from my sister's house. Ultimately, this purchase turned out to be the second most important piece of equipment next to the surfboard and wetsuit. And being able to easily and safely transport my surfboard and gear to the beach by bike and without a carโ€ฆ
