This brand has a worse smell. The dishes always have this horrible smell after washing and drying that makes me nauseous. I have to give them a hand rinse or I get nauseous and definitely lose my appetite just from that heavy, unbearable smell. What's even more scary is that these meals will have this smell for the next few days. Never buy this brand again.

I have used Cascade for many years and have never had a problem with white residue on dishes washed. I've used this version three times to make sure it's not an isolated case. Every three times some things came out with this white coating and they had to be hand washed. The third time I added some rinse aid and it helped but still not very well. I like to be proactive about the environment, but this is where I might go back to my usual Cascade.

I really wanted it to work, I liked the idea of less chemical residue. It didn't work as well as other Cascade strains. I was so disappointed. I had to wash it in the dishwasher several times. I do the usual wiping of large debris out of habit. I can honestly say that even after pre-cleaning with this variety, my plates were not thoroughly cleaned.
