UPDATE: I received a MagSafe charger, this case is not compatible. Very disappointed. Reliable, high quality and sturdy case that I think will survive a fall. But the plastic is smooth and slippery. I'm afraid it will slip out of my hands. I don't know why they haven't made the sides softer or more comfortable to grip. Otherwise this is a good case.

Neither the Revain description nor the Pelican website describes this case in sufficient detail, particularly how it differs from others. This is a two-part case, the upper part of which is locked onto the lower part with the help of three latches. The fit is very snug, and there's a small ridge around the front screen and rear camera array that protects them from direct contact with a flat surface. So far very satisfied.

I previously bought a Pelican Marine for my iPhone X and was very happy with it. I bought another one for my new iPhone 12 Max Pro thinking it would be the same and was very disappointed to find that it doesn't offer the same protection as it only protects the back and not the front and is not waterproof is as the name suggests. The price of $70 is too high. There are better cases that offer full protection at half the price.

I had the same Pelican Marine case for my old iPhones and probably a little physical damage here and there over time but they are used to keep the phone safe. and clean inside. A clear screen protector was taped to the old Pelican cases. Now none of them come with a screen protector, so you have to spend more money for a screen protector.
