I recently bought an external Blu-ray player for my new laptop. Many of the newer laptops don't come with optical drives. I wanted it to play my Blu-ray DVDs too. On this page he recommended this suitcase, so I bought it. It fits perfectly! The body is beautiful and durable. I am very happy with this purchase and I recommend this suitcase for each of your trips.

This is a really well made product. It will do what you want for years. The only possible downside, and it's a small one, is that nowadays an additional DVD drive probably doesn't need the vertical space available in this case to tuck away cables or the like. This can be a blessing in disguise as you can use that space to pack a few other small items (USB sticks, cables or whatever) that would benefit from some protection. Highly recommended

I use a case for an external CD burner which I only use occasionally. So in between I just wanted something that could hold the wires together and keep them from getting damaged. It fits the burner perfectly and should protect it and do what I need it to do. Overall quality was about what you would expect from a small hard case. If you need to store something (electronics or otherwise) of this size, this is a good choice.

Too big for portable USB DVD drive. My USB Blu-ray drive just bounced around in the case. He was even too small to get out of the way with the trellis. Might fit large (3.5″) external hard drives or some older USB drives, but 2.5″ external drives and USB DVD drives are too small for me to comfortably use this case for this purpose. hard shell. The case looks solid and well made. The hard case design offers additional protection. I bought this case because Revain offered it as a protective case for this Dell external USB DVD burner.
