Don't worry - useless - no stars

English saddle pad doesn't fit the saddle properly. If your horse jumps, it will most likely slip and you will end up on the ground.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

NOT ONLY for English saddles!

Bought for endurance riding and used on a polled endurance saddle. I had to get a little creative to keep it in place, but it works great and is very comfortable!

Very good padding on saddle pads and panels

I finally found an English saddle that fits my draft horse BUT it makes my buttocks terribly uncomfortable after about an hour in the saddle. Also, the saddle seat is too big for me. This seat cushion did the trick and now I can ride comfortably for much longer and no longer slide in the oversized seat of the saddle. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for this product!

Good shock absorber. Just the right thickness.

I was hoping to return to horseback riding after I retired. I had a spinal fusion in 2008 and wasn't sure if I would ever get back in the saddle. I use this pad with a dressage saddle. I can ride for three hours without pain. No, I do not participate in barrel racing or show jumping. However, I enjoy the company of horses and the pleasure of riding trails in the mountains. I would recommend it to anyone who has had back or hip injuries.

Coccyx Cushions: Saddle Pads

After galloping bareback with a collar and leash over hilly terrain and then having the inevitable attempts to stop the fastest galloping horse, I ended up with a few bruises around my tailbone. After a few days of rest, this pillow saved my life and helped me move four horses a day again. It stays in the two-point position fairly securely, but any full seated trot and canter will work at moderate speed. - Increased speed pushed the pillow back to the antele. A very good option for low…

Comfortable and durable

Ugly, but it works. If you can, you better buy a saddle that fits you really well and is comfortable. But if you need to ride in a saddle that hurts your butt or you have back/hip issues that would benefit from the extra cushioning this will help. I ride three times a week but I don't have a horse so I don't ride in the saddle. I'm not very picky about saddles and tend to be comfortable in a variety of styles and sizes, but one of the ponies I ride regularly has an incredibly uncomfortable…
