Nice and comfortable

I love these reins! They are adjustable and made of beautiful quality leather. I like that they are thinner in the middle - they feel good in my hands but still allow my mare to feel their weight on her neck.

Cons
  • Crumpled

Even better than I expected

Haven't used them yet and am waiting for a new side dresser to put them on but they look quality. Great feel, thickness is better than expected, rivets look and feel nice and solid, there are even good belt buckles for length adjustment. The center is split, rolled and sewn together for a comfortable feel where you hold on. I can't wait to use them.

Pros
  • Pot holders
Cons
  • Communication with seller

The reins were of very good quality but the fasteners were not good

The reins were of very good quality but the fasteners were not very good. They kept getting loosened while driving, and of course that's quite dangerous, especially when driving at full speed. I'm not sure if I just got an unwanted pair or if they're all like that, but I wouldn't recommend the set I have to anyone.

Rivets have come loose, unsafe

I bought this less than four months ago and unfortunately the reins fell apart while riding which was dangerous. These reins use a rivet instead of a buckle to secure the trigger latches and this is the part that failed. One rivet came loose and upon inspection of the broken section, the second rivet also failed. Unfortunately, this makes these reins unsafe.

Good adjustable reins!

The quality is good but any time you work with leather you just want to make sure it is well stitched or has decent rivets to match the thickness. comfortable and forgiving in your horse's mouth when your hands "twitch" a bit. When your hands are "softer" you want reins that don't stretch but send a more direct signal to your horse! I'm on my way, so I need comfort. I really like her!

Pros
  • Bridles and Accessories
Cons
  • Only available in black
