Description of Casio F105W 1A Illuminator Watch
- For me, the most important advantage is their design. Not big, Not noticeable. Nothing extra. Backlight. Moisture protection.
- Strap is short. On my hand the last holes.
- Light, simple, you can swim, beautiful performance, high-quality, fluorescent display backlight.
- It's hard for a child to press the buttons, only one alarm clock.
- Original, light, simple functionality and fluorescent lighting. Well, the case also seemed like a good bonus to me.
- Haven't revealed yet. The only upset (though not much) was the lack of a 2022-language instruction manual, but everything is on the Internet.
- Simple, comfortable, weightless, practical, classic style without frills. Excellent backlight. Low price.
- The timer is missing in my opinion.
- Battery Accuracy Backlight
- Price
- I would like to note the backlight, it is simply gorgeous here. The watch is very comfortable to wear, it fits like a glove.
- The only concern is the relative fragility of the strap, although looking at the reviews, we can say that on average its service life is 2 years, I consider it acceptable for such a strap. Most likely, the plastic "glass" will be covered with scratches during operation. It would not be superfluous to continue the countdown on the stopwatch after the 60-minute mark.
- The watch is quite compact and absolutely weightless. With the right choice of tightening the strap, the watch does not remind of itself at all, you practically do not feel it, they do not interfere at all. Good electroluminescent backlight. It shines evenly over the entire display area. The most basic, but complete watch functionality: time in 2 formats (12/24h), display of the date and day of the week, alarm clock, hour signal (2 short signals every hour) and stopwatch. No unnecessary rattles and distracting elements on the scoreboard. Only time, day of the week and date. A readable display, unlike any "toy" watch, here the segments of the LCD display do not "sink" in the depth of the glass and there are no shadows when illuminated at an angle, the numbers are always clear, without shadows. The declared accuracy of the course is +/-30 seconds per month, although after a month it was not necessary to adjust the time at all. Water protection. Although the index "WR" without a number indicates that there is no protection against immersion in water, only against drops, I tried washing them under a thick stream of water with soap, there were no problems. That is, they will definitely not be afraid of heavy rain.
- The display is a little dark. But this is the case with all displays with electroluminescent backlighting. In a simple watch with LED backlight on the side, apart from the usual silver reflector behind the display, there is nothing, and here there is also a backlight layer, it darkens the display a little. In daylight, this is not noticeable, but in a room with weak light it looks a little dark, you have to turn it into the light. Due to the fact that in this series of watches (all similar models) there are only 3 buttons, and not 4, the backlight button is combined with the function button, and the backlight turns on at the same time during a number of operations. This is more of a nitpick, it does not affect the quality of work.
- Battery more than 10 years without replacement
- I do not see
- - Bright electroluminescent backlight. -Retrofuturistic design. Like a DeLorean in the world of watches. These could have been worn by Marty McFly if the movie came out 10 years later. -Waterproof. The older brother of this watch (the legendary Casio F-91W, which is almost identical to them) differed many times in videos where they dived with it to great depths, after which they continued to work. Specifically, I took a shower with these, they work without problems, but I don’t advise you, since the water protection is designed for small splashes. -Weight. On the hand are not felt, almost weightless. The website says they weigh 20 grams. - Reliability and build quality. Many watches run for ten years, but after that either the battery runs out and people become too lazy to replace it, after which they buy new ones, or it happens that the eyelet for the strap on the case breaks off after active use. But the watch costs one and a half thousand, I don’t think that anyone feels sorry for them, so buying the same model will not be difficult. -Price. -Number of functions. The watch itself, perpetual calendar, split chronograph, alarm and hourly signal and the ability to display the time in 12-hour format.
- -Strap. It literally turns to dust when worn. At the end of the day, it has to be shaken off. After a couple of years, the strap falls apart, since it was created for the 18 mm standard, so buying the same one from Ali or any other is not difficult. Of course, plastic cannot be compared with aluminum or stainless steel, so it happens that after + - 10 years of wearing, the eyelet breaks off, but this is not so common.
