I've been wearing some sort of Casio Illuminator watch for decades. That's great! Cheap buy ($20), batteries last LONG (10 years) and is very convenient with a button to light the face at night, great timekeeping, a stopwatch function and fairly easy to set the correct day and date, time etc. to program.
