The door is very nice. and i really like it. I need the inserts because I put them in the wall so my cat won't yell at 4am to be let out of the room to get water. Since you must have them for the wall, I will tell you that if you have a standard interior wall, you will need TWO (2) liners. This was delivered quickly and well packaged. We built this into an internal steel door between the house and garage. Cutting through the steel with a jigsaw was the hardest part of the job, as it had to be cut individually on both sides of the door (the door was too thick to cut through the entire door in one go).
