Feedback after repeated use: No suction power. Hair could crawl under the cover. Of course they get caught sometimes, but I don't think they are effective in preventing clogs. I'm not used to returning things I've used. Now I had to look for something more expensive. This product is definitely not recommended.

For some reason more hair fell out during the pandemic, my shower and bathtub got clogged with hair. I hope this hard case will help catch my hair in the shower. I've been using it for a few days now and it seems to help reduce hair clogs in the shower. I will also put a second cover on my daughter's shower tray. Good buy, comes with 2 cases.

We have several rental properties and spend a lot of money on sewer cleaning. A plumber recommended these special drain covers to reduce clogs from hair etc in showers. They work well and are easy to clean. They're inexpensive too, so I ordered them for our renters too. They catch more than traditional drain caps - essential for home care!

Technically it worked - the hair didn't go down the drain. HOWEVER, the center of the siphon is solid and the solid portion is large enough to cover my entire shower drain. This prevents hair from running down the drain and neither does water from the shower. My tub filled up faster than if the drain was clogged with hair. So yes, it was a waste of money.

I found that as long as I quickly press down on all 4 suction cups (one in each corner) it stays in our porcelain tub very well and catches hair that builds up in the shower. I recommend cleaning the product weekly or on the go, although I've raised the trap as I've had it for 4 months to find mold covering about 1/4 of the outside edge (one corner of the unit), mold growing silicone was in it to keep it from staining.

I like that this waste bin isn't bulky. It is almost flush with the tub. It moves into the bath and stays well absorbed. It catches most things that go down the drain. It catches hair, but I'm not sure if it catches everything. The trap pops up when I release the suction cups for very easy cleaning. The suction cups didn't come off with slime or mold when I took them out to clean. My kids also seem to leave them alone when in the shower :) It's way better than the strainer baskets that fit in…
