My cat loves to scratch corrugated cardboard. This one is wider than most scrapers. It's also more expensive. I prefer regular sized scrapers because they are cheaper and work well. My kitten is happy with the standard size. I put them in a tall cardboard box to hide the cardboard pieces. The product itself is good. This is for the "wide" model. It seems they eventually went from 9 inches down to 7.5 inches (including the "bezel”). However, the actual photo is clearly an older, wider model and does not reflect the item you will receive. Also, the "Style" measurements at the top of the page correctly list a width of 7.5 inches, but the "About This Item" section just below incorrectly lists 8.75 inches. I need the scraper now so I can't return it but I feel cheated.

OK! So it's nothing more than a glorified cardboard product, but a furniture saver and a treat for cats nonetheless. I love it! I tried a few of these with my cats almost 10 years ago and all they made was an awful mess that I kept having to pick up.
