I bought other scratching posts on the internet and personally. This is the strongest I've ever had! This is important because both of my cats are +/- 20 pounds overweight. I only have one, but since both cats fight over it, I'm planning to get another one so they can both have fun! They did it to make it more durable.

Very nicely made turret, but for what it's worth this 'tower' is incredibly small! I'm talking about the dimensions of the dollhouse. My 3 month old kitten doesn't even fit in a crate. To be honest, this tower is suitable for either newborn kittens or kittens under 4 months old. I'll probably have to replace it within a few months or have some of the parts remade to fit the box. Very disappointed.

This item is CHEAP. And I don't mean $50 cheap, I mean I ordered it cheap like Wish. The little box isn't a box, it's a piece of cloth wrapped around a few pieces of wood. Screws can't stabilize in plywood so they won't hold together without using something else. I tried screws that naturally broke out of the plywood. I hate this.
