Works well with my reptile cleaner. I use crushed walnut shells and they have the right size slots for sifting and collecting waste.

I know it's just a dustpan, but listen to me. Ever get tired of those tiny lumps of trash falling right through the dustpan? This shovel solves that problem! It cleans ALL my cat waste from the litter box and keeps my litter fresher for longer. I appreciate having a hook so I can choose how and where to store it. Highly recommended!

I like that this cat litter scoop is big and easy to hold. It will not bend or buckle under the weight of the filler. What I don't like is that the garbage takes a long time to sift through the slots of the sieve. Even with a slight shake, it looks like an hourglass. It doesn't separate clumps very easily because the smaller particles don't seem to want to go through the crevices. We use Nature's Miracle Intense Defense fast clumping litter because my cats prefer it and it's not as heavy as other litters. We chose this many years ago because it was washable, which was much nicer than bagging it.
