Worked great on my project! I used it with aquarium silicone. My arm didn't get tired like when I used cheaper, poorly made caulking guns (I used them daily when installing gutters).

2 things make it 5 stars 1) a built in nose cutter 2) something built in to pierce the hose Apart from these 2 items I like plastic hoses. I haven't used cardboard tubes of liquid nails to see if it works or not.

LOVE how the pipe cuts when moving backwards. The overall length is kept short because the rod runs essentially parallel to the pipe and does not protrude beyond it. Ideal for limited space. BUT... the front of the handlebar reinforces the half loop below the tip. This is often an obstacle when hunting, because the hand then drags along one surface or the other, depending on which direction you hold it. Caused me a couple of seal glitches that I had to fix.

Thinking backwards, the thumb lock is in the front. If you don't constantly depressurize, the flow will continue to be a mess. Only suitable for thin liquid sealants (latex or silicone). Your hand will explode if you use anything else, and even then it will take effort. I do this for a living and if you can use a regular 12 to 1 shotgun you have more control. This weapon is great for close-range work, but fire slowly for best results. It shouldn't be fired if you're going fast.

I've used this a few times. It's really shorter to use and works just as well as any weapon I've used in the past. I will say that it drips just like any other weapon. The so-called anti-drip function is exactly the same as with any other gun: pressure relief. The only difference is that you use your index finger instead of your thumb to press on it (6 of a...).
