We use this as decorative lighting for our large room with open ceilings. It does the job and the brightness is exactly what we were hoping for.

When we were wrapping our tree, we found that it was as bright as the sun... so we recently changed its position so it covers less. Heavy solid construction, we'll see how it holds up.

Firstly, please note that this product cannot be trimmed or trimmed. It also has a flat back, making 90-degree turns difficult. The color is not warm. It can be darkened, but will become more blue-gray. This is not what I was hoping to buy.

Our new house has its lights on for the first time and some of them don't work. I order warm white and get soft white, not sure if the color changed because it wasn't in the batch. I would love to replace them, happy to send a photo!

I used these in my basement where the ceiling was too low to accommodate can lights. I ordered a cool white that is insanely bright. I love these lights and will order them every time I need an LED string. The plug also has a built-in fuse, so you're less likely to burn down your house in the event of a power surge.

Total 8 sets ordered - 100 feet/set, 6 sets in the first order and 2 sets in the second order. The first 6 sets had one of them flashing like Christmas lights so I filed a complaint. My electrician changed the power cord from other kits and continues to do the same. I submitted a follow-up complaint but never received a response. However, I placed another order to complete my nearly 800 foot LED lighting project, but I would never recommend this $90 per kit ribbon to anyone.

Haven't tried dimming them. I probably should as they are insanely bright, but I was looking for something to light up a nice pathway to my house through my dense forest of ornamental trees. It works like magic and emits so much light that it illuminates the house, the huge oak trees next to the house and possibly low-flying airplanes. Update November 2018: After another 2 years of use, the connector in the supply line to the LEDs has a short circuit. I emailed the seller who responded immediately and sent a replacement (replacement installs easily with the newer screw design). Still highly recommended, and the new LED strip in the "round" design seems to hold up well in the sun too.
