Was not assembled properly and still had the Chinese "inspection passed" tag in the box. The battery compartment spring was missing to function. I bought another model from another seller and it was just as bad. I give up and buy a $100+ digital model from another store.

Every home should have this. This is a natural gas detector that can save lives. On the top is this antenna-like thing that fits in places you normally can't get to, and on the top is a sensor that detects gas. It's easy to use, seems accurate, and affordable. It detects all types of gases, not just one, but all of them, which is a plus. This one machine is all you need.

Inexpensive mind. I just passed the annual gas inspection with the gas company (required in RI). I only tried this for use with my combustion analyzer. Didn't think I'd find anything but just for fun I tried it, it's very delicate, I found a leak from a small compression fitting. I've tried several times in disbelief. Took a bladder tester and found a bloody leak. Tightened the screw and checked again. there is no more leakage. Very easy to use and accurate.

After a "professional" leak detection service couldn't find a leak in our gas line, I bought one and filled our line with BBQ propane at 5psi for six hours. I was able to find and fix the problem without replacing our entire underground gas line (which is really long).
