Got 4 stars because the o ring doesn't fit and doesn't fit at all and I had to buy it from the store when I shouldn't have came with one, but well, other than this, fits pretty well

Attaches easily to the block. The donut that goes between the header and the front exhaust takes some force to snap into place. I used sandpaper and a rotary tool to adjust it, took about 20 minutes of fiddling. Comes with a new exhaust bolt so not having to deal with stuck factory bolts was great. Just cut those bastards off! Got this back for my TJ when I'm ready to replace it.

Cherokee xj 4.0L. Easy to assemble as it fits without any problems. Same flange thickness as factory. Cheap and easy replacement for cracked headers on both of my Cherokee xj ('98 and '99). Check the welds 2 to 1 for cracks, that's why it's so noisy! Note: 1 star deduction due to incorrect exhaust flange gasket. Get one from the auto parts store. It's still the best deal.

Perfect for my 99 XJ; the intake manifold fits into the holes in the exhaust manifold flange without interference. The flange surface is well machined and smooth, and the welds and bends look decent. As others have said the included gasket is cheap, get a Fel-Pro. You will need a swivel end and a swivel extension, and remember these bolts are torqued in a specific sequence and only to 24 Dr-lbs. The exhaust manifold is cracked and it's time to replace it.

This should be a comparable replacement for the original. This Jeep model has a design issue that results in premature cracking of the exhaust manifold where the connector is welded to the exhaust pipe. This replacement part doesn't look any stronger than the original so I assume it will eventually fail. (i.e. no extra support or thicker welds). I was hoping for something better. However, all of the bolt holes line up on both the header and head gasket, and fitting the exhaust was a breeze…

Bank style 'headers' will NOT fit under the Renix intake manifold, the intake rails are in contact with the #1 and #6 exhausts to the point where they fit that you can. Intake manifold not cleaned properly. without destroying it. However, this exhaust manifold will release a Renix intake with a slight intake gap (see image) and a slight adjustment of the #6 tailpipe (see image).
