Quick details: Spare parts

Have three units, two missing screws for the main cable, small screws are not common. I'm 10 miles from the nearest hardware store, very inconvenient

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Only available in black

Poor quality product. best in Ignition Spare Parts

I bought two of these for my 2 stroke engine. After much frustration and several months of trying to start the engine, it turned out that only one worked. The one-month return window has closed, so it sucks.

  • good thing

Excellent quality ignition parts

Really nice. I swapped mine out for service but found that one of the old coils was leaking and one had bad wire. As a result, the engine now runs more smoothly. TIP: Mark the location of the wires as you remove them. You'll have to get a little creative to route these longer wires. I mixed mine and it took me a few minutes to figure it out. For your information

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some cons

The cable is too short!

The pin that goes into the power supply is too short! It does not provide a secure connection to the other half of the power supply. In addition, you cannot use the original screws because they are too short. They suggest it's a genuine spare part, but it's actually a cheap Chinese fake that doesn't meet factory specs.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Total disappointment, worth weeks delay

I'm in the process of doing a complete restore on my old 1983 50hp. I had a bad coil and since I had replaced the power supply and stator with new CDI brand parts I decided to buy CDI brand coils as well. Before replacing the coils I had no problems starting the engine. The reason for the replacement was that the old coil on cylinder 2 had a bad secondary winding which caused it to misfire at higher rpm. First let me say that I think one of these was returned prematurely because the power…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I don't like it at all, everything is fine
