Great product for balancing ceiling fans!

This product is Great! This reduces the vibration in an unbalanced ceiling fan. I suggest watching a YouTube video (self help) to get it right.

  • How it works: According to the interpretation of physics, the thinner the area of carrier wind, the less resistance the patch has when the fan rotates, and the patch has better adhesion to the fan blade

Works best with lighting and ceiling fans

In my apartment the fans are terrible and can't work at height because they move too much. I have used 4 times 3 fan blades in my family room and it has really quieted the movement, not perfect but a big improvement, the design of the fan and light kit is just awful. I've used 3 x 1 blades with significantly different angles in my bedroom and that helped too, this fan is much newer.

The clamps will not fit the fan blades without scratching them

The clamps used to find the right balance are so tight and with thin gaps that you cannot mount them over the fan blades , without damaging the edges and the surface. Therefore we cannot use the kit

Plastic clips do not hold

Kit quick as described. When I started balancing the three-blade fan, everything went fine with the plastic clip in the middle. My fan blades taper towards the end. Once I found the right blade, I moved it to the end where the fan was narrower. The clip had no elasticity and immediately flew off. I received another clip from the kit that had not yet been stretched and has held up well. Note, however, that the hard plastic does not spring back after "stretching".
