I found a similar light elsewhere for much more money. Instead, he chose this one. Installed by a licensed electrician who struggled with all the details. Each arm moves independently and doesn't lock into a fixed position, making dusting difficult. Looks nice after straightening, which happens weekly. Affordable but thin.

My installation was probably more difficult than most since the ceiling had no box, but it went into the wood just fine. The arms feel a little flimsy so keep that in mind if you have low ceilings. Regarding the wire nut comment, the electrical wiring had to be routed through the odd-numbered terminal. It seemed to work, but the wire nut and 15 seconds of twisting also worked.

This flashlight looks really cool. BUT the instructions and labeling contradicted each other. Then the wiring is crazy to try to tie everything together. The electrician did so and said the setup was the most boring thing he had ever seen. Finally got everything together. I checked all outlets, 7 out of 8 work. So I'm sending it back and ordering a similar one from a different brand that's already assembled on wires. I haven't tried yet.

This lamp has replaced an outdated lamp. So it was a great upgrade! We weren't in a hurry so we didn't have a time limit, the two of us are much easier. Hooked up quite simply, the nuts and bolts to attach each bulb weren't exactly easy to use but they worked, patience takes time, we were adults and would go to a hardware store and buy wire nuts instead of the crummy 6 wire combo connectors they are a joke. This lamp looks fantastic but has a low profile. Due to the lack of shades and the number of lamps in this design, it emits light like nothing else. My husband plans to install a dimmer and switch to the recommended 40 watt bulb instead of the 60 watt bulb we had on hand. I really like how bright it is. It improves my mood enormously.
