Viewed several YouTube views of installing such a product. My ceiling fan was a little different than the ones I was looking at, but with very little knowledge I was able to install it. It comes in a small plastic bag with no instructions, so keep that in mind when you order. Works perfectly.

The original manufacturer used non-releasable wire connectors so I cut them and stripped the wires and then used my existing splicing tools to make the connections. Works perfectly. The hardest part of the job was standing on the ladder and working overhead (at my age :D). The actual job was a "breeze" and hopefully this fan/light will last me for many years to come.

Installation was very easy! My friend made it in about 20-30 minutes. You'll need some wire stripping tools and some electrical tape. Your original wires will be connected to the switch. You will also need to cut the end of the wire connector and connect it to the switch itself. Match the colors and then put it all back together and you're golden! It's cheaper, easier and much more profitable to replace a switch than an entire ceiling fan!
