Really heavy best in my review

This product was described as light weight and is just the opposite. It was very hard to use on taller bushes Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Powerful, LINK-FORCE double gear drive makes cutting 50% easier
Cons
  • Due to its size and weight, the lopper may not be suitable for use by shorter individuals or those with limited mobility

Have to open really wide to be able to cut some branches.

They cut really well but you have to open the head very wide to be able to cut branches. You're stretching your arms pretty far apart to be able to cut some branches. Could be a little uncomfortable at times.

Pros
  • Centurion
Cons
  • The price point for the Monster Lopper is quite high, limiting accessibility for budget-conscious users

Strongest I've ever owned

This lopper is a little awkward to use, since it cuts completely different than what you're used to. However, it DOES cut a full two inch branch, and quite easily. You have to hook the lopper around the branch from the side instead of going straight in. You also need to keep from twisting the lopper as this will cause the moving / cutting blade away from the anvil that it's cutting against. If used correctly, this beast is very strong and the gear drive makes it very powerful. It makes a very…

Pros
  • Used my neighbors. And I just bought one. Bad ass
Cons
  • The cutting capacity of the lopper is limited to 2 inches, which may not be sufficient for thicker branches and wood

Great but cumbersome tool

Awesome product once you you are able to spread the arms of the cutter and then position the C-clamp like portion of the cutter around the piece that you plan on cutting. Once in position though the thing cuts like butter and with little to no effort. The ergonomics just suck and doesn’t work well for bushes as a simplistic product works better. Great but cumbersome tool

Pros
  • Aluminum
Cons
  • The SK5 steel blade, while durable, can be prone to rust and corrosion if not properly cared for

Cutting a thick branch is easy.

For thick branches you need to extend the looper all the way. That could be dangerous while working of a tallladder and other branches are in your way.

Pros
  • Used one belonging to someone else and buddy it's awesome! I can't wait for mine!
Cons
  • The Monster Lopper is quite heavy and can be difficult to maneuver, especially for those with less upper body strength
