Plecoceramics Medium-sized Pleco Cave Breeding Ceramic Decorations for Fish Tanks and Aquariums Review

This is our third. We just had a "litter" of 23 babies. Mom took care of them in the den until we moved them to a larger aquarium. It was the first time we had a Plecos breed and it was in a public aquarium. Just took a den with babies in it (when mom wasn't around feeding them) and put them in an empty tank. That was 3 weeks ago and we've only lost one so far.

This is a beautiful and quality addition to my aquarium. My bristle-nosed male dug up anything near a tree in my tank. I have another, presumably female, 29 gallon Pleco that I believe caused this behavior. It's the perfect size as he explored its interior in just minutes after placing it in the ecosystem. The only thing now is that he moves the gravel next to the log again. You need to see if the log will be used for breeding for its intended purpose.

Bought 3 medium caves in December. I put two in my large (55 gallon) tank to have a choice between male and female bristlenoses. The male chose the one he liked, and within three days after being in the aquarium, they spawn (the first spawning). In the first clutch there were about 40 young fish. All caves arrived in good condition. I washed them with water from the aquarium and put them into operation. A pair of my three beacon catfish got them within an hour or so after they calmed down from the tank rebuild. I wish you the best of luck in breeding. I used 4 packs of a smooth taupe in a Three Beacon tank. I used 2 packs of textured style for my Bristle Nose Plecos. They still seem to ignore them as there are already hideouts in those tanks. I know I have a boy and possibly a girl Albino Bristlenosed Catfish. I've had them for several years now, so they're about 4 inches long. I heard they will mate if I buy a den.
