I love a good cake.: Cake Pans

Worked great for my Thanksgiving cakes. I only had one container and that was fine, but I could probably use two containers for one cake. Ideal weight and easy storage.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • unreliable

First time using cake weights and they worked

I had no experience with cake weights but they helped me make a good homemade crust. I like the case they came for good practical storage. It's a little harder to get in for a small child.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Damaged

I wish I could have ordered two!

I used it on a quiche the same day I received it. I wish I could order 2! They worked great with parchment paper and easily transferred from one cake to another when blind baking. The shape is very pretty and if you have counter space it will look great on a countertop. Would buy them again!

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • boring packaging

Container almost half empty

They work, but the list is misleading. I spent twice as much on this as the other option, thinking I was getting a lot more. I was shocked when the container was just over half full. This is barely enough to fill a layer in my 9" cake pan and not enough for my 11" cake pan. I should have saved money and got these in a less wasteful container.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Zero

I'm so sad ! - Kitchen and dining room

I'm very upset! I'm ready to give it back! In the plastic box are cake weights! The plastic box does not save space for ceramic weights! After cleaning your pie weights you can dry them for a very long (very) long time OR you have ceramic pie weights covered in mold or black fungus! and then you can't erase it because you can't! The fungus is a bacterium and you cannot reuse it. can only be thrown away!

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • No paint required

Hassle-free work

Pea-sized beans (1 cm), same shape and size. They are even white (not shiny and not polished). I've used them to pre-bake a few custard tarts and they allowed the crust to bake without bubbles - way better than the actual dried beans and rice I used! The rectangular containers are plastic but very thick and strong, attractive enough for regular use. For some reason they are about 3/4 full of beans instead of full, which isn't a problem but seems a bit cryptic. I had two containers of these and…

Works great just minor wash and storage issues

I would like it to come with more weight as that number of cakes won't quite/almost fill a standard cake tin to the top what would be preferable as the tops of the crust can sometimes balloon high. I once had an issue with the size of each pie weight and the container they came with. As a warning, be careful when opening the container - as soon as I opened mine, the pie weights that were over the edge of the container started spilling out. Since the pie weights are powder coated they will need…
