Description of πŸ”ͺ CERATOUCH Ceramic 45mm Rotary Cutter Blade: Revolutionary Blades for Crafting, Sewing, and Quilting – Lasts 15x Longer than Steel!

SHARPER THAN STEEL - Stop changing your rotary cutter blades after each project! Our ceramic roller cutter blade is sharper than steel and is proven to LAST UP TO 15x LONGER than any steel rotary blade. Harder edges maintain sharpness longer, cut better, and require replacement far less frequently. Each and every blade is hand tested for these specific performance uses. DESIGNED WITH CRAFTERS IN MIND - The Ceratouch ceramic rotary cutter is designed for use with silk, nylons, chiffon, lace, and thinly woven materials such as chenille, vinyl, polymers, and plastics; anywhere a very acutely applied cutting pressure is critical. CeraTouch rotary blades are NOT designed or intended for usage with rough, coarse fabrics, corrugation or even standard thick materials. HIGH-PRECISION CUTTING - This ceramic rotary fabric cutter cutter allows for an acute micro-cutting performance for the most demanding projects. Ceratouch rotaries are a technical, highly refined blade technology designed for very unique crafting, skilled sewing and quilters uses. SEWING & QUILTING ESSENTIAL - Light-weight and with nonstick smoothness, for extended quilting, sewing and crafting projects. A MUST-HAVE addition to your sewing accessories and quilting supplies. VERSATILE - The Ceratouch ceramic rotary cutter blade is compatible with Fiskars rotary cutter, Olfa rotary cutter, and most other 45mm rotary cutter handles.

Up to 10 times sharper than other revolver blades

I found the Ceratouch revolver blades excellent because they are made of ceramic, do not rust, are very hard and have an ultra-sharp cutting edge. They also fit most brands of rotary cutters. The blades cut paper, fabric, leather and even feel very good.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Drill bit package

The best blade I've ever had!

This ceramic blade and ergonomic rotary knife are great. It cuts through 5 layers of fabric like butter. I like the feel of the handle, very soft and comfortable in hand. I especially like that I can put it on a stand at the bottom so I can find it among the fabrics and other tools on my desk.

Pros
  • Quilting
Cons
  • Expensive

It's not well done.

I was very disappointed with this product. The blade cracks and barely cuts through two layers of fabric. It doesn't feel very good in the hand and the blade guard was more of a nuisance than anything else. It has a lot of play. I removed the blade cover and blade to fix it, judging by the photo on the box there should have been a spring and washer - there wasn't. Maybe that's why he was shaking so badly. Don't buy this! It is better to invest in branded titanium disc knives.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not as advertised

I have used the Circular Knife several hours a day for the past 15 years. I've tried dozens of styles and manufacturers. I tried this one because they said a ceramic blade is better and lasts longer. That wasn't the case with me; In fact, it dulled much quicker than other blades I use. Even if the cutter fits well in the hand, changing the blade is difficult. The bolt holding it has a flat side, so there's only one way to thread it through the channel and it's not easy to get it lined up…

Pros
  • Circular Knife Blades
Cons
  • Discontinued Model
