I have used Apple OEM cables in the past but have never had success with them when trying to connect my iPhone to a Linux workstation. Also, the OEM cables seemed to work for a very long time before they stopped working. Right out of the box, these cables looked and felt different. I ordered these because I was tired of Apple cables breaking at the tip. Also, my extension doesn't reach my side of the bed, so I need something longer. As long as it's perfect. It charges my phone faster, with 6ft of cord it reaches my side of the bed and even longer. Well I had high hopes for this product when I received it. The cables were nice and seemed flexible but not cheap but unfortunately I don't know if I got a bad batch or what. The reviews were pretty decent from other people.
