I bought 3 packs of these short charging cables two years ago and one of the cables is still in perfect condition and charges my phone very quickly in the car. It works great with Apple CarPlay. The other two cables in the pack lasted a couple of months, but considering the price, I'm glad this remaining cable lasted so long!

I don't know what the problem is with these cables but they just don't work. I've tried them all, disconnected and reconnected multiple times and my iPhone 7 never starts to charge. I can then use a different cable and it charges just fine, so it's definitely not a phone. I have no idea what the problem with these is. To return.

Lightning connectors are cheaply made so the cable itself seems quite strong but the working end on three of them has now broken off. A spike broke in the iPad itself and Apple told us there was nothing they could do to fix it other than replace the iPad. Luckily for us, the last attempt was successful. Buyer Warning!

These cords were bought in a pack of three and are used all the time. In the 6 months I've had them, they've held up and never given me any connection issues. They are durable and never run short like others I've bought in the past. I like the red color which makes them easy to spot when looking for them and they have a very well secured plug which I find difficult to break. If I need more, I look to the same brand.

Braided cables are great because 1) they don't tangle as much and 2) they last longer than traditional rubber-covered cables. I have used many braided cables and they are not all the same. Many still do not have a plug/connector retainer and so still fall apart at this junction and will soon deteriorate as the braid wears and the wires are exposed. Another thing that is also common is that these are Apple MFi certified cables, which means they will be recognized and charged without iPhone and iPad issues even after many future iOS updates.
