I liked how the collar comes off so you can solder the leads easily. Add some solder paste, some heat and some solder and you'll have a great connection. Reliable communication and easy implementation. I recommend using vise pliers to hold the pin while soldering. Connections in less than five minutes after cutting, stripping, soldering and splicing the sleeve.

Good solder. Fit and finish are good for the price. The only real problem is that about 20% of the leads are plugged with internal solder. This is the hole where the wire that connects to the center pin is inserted and soldered in place before the case is screwed on. With multiple connectors, this hole was blocked. The clog was under a gold coating so it was inconvenient to clean. So apart from having to throw away some parts, the connectors worked perfectly.
