Despite all the hype that it was designed in France and pressure tested at 13 pounds, I got a standard yellow champagne cork from China. It's rated at 3 pounds when the pressure is on the box and won't make a perfect seal anyway. This is the same cork you can buy 2 times for $5, only it's yellow.

Not very convenient to use, when I go to the fridge I notice that it opens again. Uncomfortable for the skin, it has rather sharp edges that get in the way when trying to apply pressure from above when trying to close the handles. I will not buy it and will not recommend it to anyone. There is much better. I personally only bought it because of the color.

Ideal for prolonging the bubbles and flavor of champagne residues. I live alone and love the occasional glass of champagne, but I don't want to drink the whole bottle in one evening. I gave up champagne because I couldn't keep it. Now I can drink champagne whenever I want. I waited three days to have more and it was perfect!

I LOVE this cork. It's absolutely valuable. Matches perfectly with my other wine/desk accessories and is durable. I use it to seal my champagne and sparkling wine. You can feel its quality and details as soon as you use it. It's unlike anything I've bought before. Simple but does the job - seals champagne perfectly and keeps the bubbles in for days with no issues. Really great stuff.

Love this plug! I had one that you twist to close and if you walked around with the bottle the cork would eventually fly off. This has two levers that hold the top on the bottle neck. I want to warn you, if you're walking around with a bottle, to put your hand on the cork to hold it while you open the levers. If you don't, it will fly away - again only if you walk around with the bottle.

Have now ordered 4 of these. They work great. It just takes a little experimentation to make sure you're using the right one. I have found that you must first put the bottle on with the side "hook" slightly open. Then press the top of the stopper with the palm of your hand. While pressing on the top of the cork, snap the "hook" and release the top. You'll feel the top lift a bit, but a good seal has now formed. If you love a little champagne, it's not uncommon to down half a bottle of bubbly. I used to have to either drink it or put it in the fridge and throw it away after a day or so. But not anymore!
