If you love pop this is for you!

If you love a little champagne, it's not uncommon to down half a bottle of bubbly. I used to have to either drink it or put it in the fridge and throw it away after a day or so. But not anymore! I tested my Pop Keeper as follows. I bought a high-yield kava and let it cool down well. I uncorked the cork, poured into a glass and immediately attached the keeper and put the bottle back in the fridge. Three days later I took off the keeper with a very comfortable piece of cotton. I poured another glass, reattached the container and put the bottle back in the fridge. The second glass was indistinguishable from the original. I don't usually let my champagne warm up, so the last sip was just as good as the first! I waited a week to open the bottle again. The goalkeeper was removed, again with a nice bang. I killed the bottle this round. I suspect the second glass was probably a little flatter than if I had two glasses on the new bottle, but that's a minor side effect. The last two glasses were totally enjoyable. As with any carbonated beverage, refrigeration is key! Carbon dioxide, the effervescent component, is much more soluble in cold wine than in warmer wine. Always leave the bottle in the fridge for 24 hours before opening. Use the container immediately after opening and put the bottle back in the fridge immediately if you want to preserve the quality. The product is well made. I hope to use it for several years. The material that comes into contact with the bottle is a soft plastic to be cleaned. Metal parts are thick and must be able to withstand bending. I thought it was good value for money.
