It just doesn't look as high quality as I expected for the price. It would look okay in a Pinto, but it wouldn't look right in a Corvette. I doubt it will be able to stay cozy and secure for very long. Install where you can easily tighten it or consider using thread sealant. I might consider recommending it to a friend if I find out they kicked my dog. Make sure you don't think of the Pinto as a collector's car.

Just installed 3 in my Wolf Pup 16bhs road trailer. Doesn't hum when charging, seems to charge quickly but will update with actual use. The lid presses on the power button when put down, so I removed it. It also doesn't seem like energy is flowing when the voltmeter isn't on. So if you want to use it in a dark place, keep this light in mind. Most likely, she will put a marker on it or put a thin film on it to reduce the intensity.

I really like these sockets. Gone are the days when you could lose stupid $30 adapters. They work great. I've even installed them on SUVs and boats. This is especially useful for vehicles that play music for a long time without reloading. Lightning is charged with a high-quality cable. The only problem is that it is only a hair's breadth larger than most original frames, so enlarging the hole is often necessary. Definitely recommend.

I installed this in an RV. I like that there is an on/off button. I tested it on two different Android phones version 2.1. QC must be backward compatible. It's painfully slow to load. Starting with a 25% charged phone, it took 9 hours to charge to 70%. Then finally up to 100% only after charging overnight. The voltmeter reads slightly higher. Pretty easy to install, but slightly larger than a 1" hole (odd size). A good concept would be much happier if it charged my phone in a reasonable amount…
