Works well with my Escort Solo 2, 3 and 4 although it fits the Solo 4 just fine.

Works with my Escort Solo 2, 3 and 4. It adjusts well and seems to stick well. Only time will tell if it stays relevant. Update 7/2/19 bought 4 of these. All haven't slept in a month. Update 7/15/19: 3 out of 4 of my mounts are too tight on the My Escort Solo 4 so the metal clip that fits the metal detector needs to be sawed off. The manufacturer should be aware of this and make the bracket a bit thinner.

It stays where you put it.

One of the best detector mounts. I've had one for my STI Magnum for two years and it hasn't come loose on its own yet. The Magnum is very heavy and if parked in the sun it can fly off the spot. But I still remove the detectors when I park. This detector is not designed for the Uniden R1 but I couldn't find a suitable mount for the R1 so I bought a second one and modified it to make it work. My only complaint (based on using my first) is that the sides that the lag screw goes through crack if…

Great product for Auto Electronics Accessories

I've tried many radar detector attachments for my companions and this is by far the best I've bought. I now have three: one in a 2017 Corvette Z06, one in a 2019 Camaro ZL1 and the last in a 2021 Silverado. I've used the flat type that mostly mounts to the dash, but on the cars I own none of them are flat enough to securely hold my gauges.
