I ordered this item because it was the only one I could find that would fit in an Otterbox for my iPhone 4. I use it on my mountain bike and it works great. I've been driving it since I got it and it's just the way it's supposed to be. Today, during my trip, it broke at the point of attachment. I don't think it can be fixed. Up to this point everything has worked wonderfully. But I'm not too happy with a lifespan of 3 months.

Took me a minute to assemble, got stuck trying to put the ball in the socket (because in all the pictures the ball is inside but with a ring but there is a trick how to do it).
