Works great - GPS accessory

Charger arrived on time and in perfect condition. That works great. I've had issues with aftermarket chargers in the past, but this hasn't disappointed me in the slightest.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some cons

Only works occasionally.

I bought this just before taking my car on a 1200 mile round trip. This charger only works intermittently. The ride is very dangerous and after about every kilometer it stops working. Try inserting a stronger cable, tapping the screen, turning the GPS on and off; Anything that requires a cable to power the GPS device adds to the distraction while driving. Didn't work

Can't say anything except that it didn't work. I tried to get my money back for this but it turned out to be a waste of time. Consult Magellan if you need to replace the cable. I learned this the hard way.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not worth the money, should have bought at .

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Do not buy for Magellan Roadmate 1700

The plug hole for the car charger is too big and will fall out of the Magellan Roadmate 1700. I've tried taping it to the Roadmate 1700 or holding it while driving but nothing of it worked. I purchased a Magellan 5310 power supply and connected it to a PowerLine PowerCup 200/400 watt portable inverter with USB 90309 power connector in my car to charge my Magellan Roadmate 1700 in the car. When I compared the plug on the power cord of the car charger adapter with the plug on the AC adapter, the…
