I'm 5'1" and need a durable poncho that leaves my hands free. got wet but now it's pretty much perfect. The bar is set high because I work with the Red Cross to deliver rescue supplies and we often get caught in heavy rain. 5 stars for a poncho for my needs. Also great for children who are 5' and under.

Bought for eldest son (9) at Boy Scout dormitory camp. A few weeks earlier my youngest son had gone to Scout Day Camp and it had been a rainy week. He used this poncho and stayed dry. The guides told me that this was best because it also kept his backpack dry. Very durable. I would definitely buy again. I'm sure we'll be using it during the soccer game this fall.

I deliberately chose this "youth" size because I am a small woman and need it for an outing the rainy season in Britain. It looks great and will no doubt get the job done.
