Keep searching! suitable for bar and wine tools

I had no idea a corkscrew could be so bad. I ordered it to replace the one I got as a gift at a show at least five years ago. It's so poorly made, with a ridiculously short blade and cork shaft (I just made up the name but I thought you'd understand) that it looked like it needed to flex at the joint, but it didn't . Keep searching. It's useless.

Professional quality beer and wine opener!

Foreword: I'm not a sommelier, but I'm an avid beer drinker. constantly slipping and grabbing the teeth of the bottle. It's perfect every time. Regarding opening a bottle of wine, I recently got into wine research and saw a sommelier open a bottle of wine with one of these baddies. Needless to say, I fell in love with the manual motion of opening the bottle and had to make a purchase! Hooray!

During that time I have probably uncorked more than a thousand bottles of wine and only broken one cork. Yes, cork picking has been in my rear view mirror for a long time - thank you Jesus! They are super cheap and the shipping was fast! Go ahead and buy 3 or 4 of these and…

Sturdy and easy to use

I had one of those corkscrews with a twist top and two branches that go up when you twist and you can use the lever down to pull the cork out. It was convenient, but sometimes the handles rose unevenly and I had to shake them to smooth them out. I'll want to play around with old mechanical corkscrews again at some point. Very simple and seems very solid. If I have one comment, it's that the bottle opener would be more convenient to use if it moved the other way. Pulling down to open bottles…
