Sturdy and easy to use
I had one of those corkscrews with a twist top and two branches that go up when you twist and you can use the lever down to pull the cork out. It was convenient, but sometimes the handles rose unevenly and I had to shake them to smooth them out. I'll want to play around with old mechanical corkscrews again at some point. Very simple and seems very solid. If I have one comment, it's that the bottle opener would be more convenient to use if it moved the other way. Pulling down to open bottles feels more natural than lifting.
