Description of Chef Craft 21525 Grapefruit Stainless

This knife is serrated on each side, and has a curved blade to effortless section grapefruit. Blade is 3.5 inches in length. Wood handle fits comfortably in hand. Stainless steel blade won't rust no matter how many times you use it. As with all wood products, handwash only to maintain the beauty and quality of the material.

Nice to look at but doesn't work.

Nice little knife but disappointing. I think jagged edges can be good for a grapefruit, but I've always used my latest grapefruit knife to remove the skin from melon parts like cantaloupe and honeydew melon. This knife will not work well on melons.

Pros
  • Home and kitchen
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works best in the kitchen and dining room

Very pleased with the purchase of this Grapefruit Knife. It really makes a big difference to a normal knife. I like to eat half a grapefruit in the morning and cut the slices perfectly with this knife. I am satisfied with the performance and the price made me happy too. Be sure to hand wash and dry to keep it long lasting.

Pros
  • Grapefruit Cutlery
Cons
  • Infuriates

has much thinner teeth. The teeth on that blade too.

I bought this not to use as a grapefruit tool but to use with apple slices. I used a similar grapefruit knife (angled tip, serrated blade) that works very well with apples. This knife does not exist. Another knife is about 50 years old and has a much finer grind. The teeth on this blade are too coarse.

Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Works great!

Everything you need if you love grapefruit. I had the last one for at least 20 years and the wooden handle eventually broke (why don't husbands listen when you tell them not to wash anything in the dishwasher?) These aren't found in the store, it seems they do everyone just carries such useless (IMHO) grapefruit spoons. A grapefruit knife is the BEST option. I've had one for a long time and it's perfect! HUSBAND: Please do not put things with wooden handles in the dishwasher, thanks!

The beauty of this dish.

The beauty of this tool is its tiny size, double the blade sharpness and light weight. A slight bend allows you to penetrate "under" the fruit along the perimeter of the grapefruit half. All this allows you to quickly and completely separate the fruit from the films. To serve, add maraschino cherries to the center, sprinkle the top of the pulp with a teaspoon of sugar and enjoy. I've been looking for an instrument like this for a long time because my mother had one when I was a kid; very happy…

  • Kitchen & Dining
Cons
  • No Power
