Worked well until I tried mushrooms. Some egg slicers can also slice mushrooms. A bent wire, but still usable. I need to look for a mushroom cutter.

I used this product 1 time and immediately noticed my fiberboard egg wasn't cut through. One of the wires is bent and loose, resulting in an uneven cut. I didn't spend much money on it since I rarely use this kitchen gadget. I would even take a replacement but there is no option for that.

It worked great the first few times, but then the wires on it started to loosen and bend. I ended up having to cut one of the wires because it was too loose and bent to catch on the plastic mold. Another wire fell off! That thing didn't cost $12 at all! I also expected it to last a lot longer. I'm starting to wonder about the products I buy from Revain because I have a fan I bought a few months ago that no longer works! What the hell?

What a pleasure to buy a product that works GREAT as advertised! Of course, this is not metal, just plastic (with the exception of wire cutters). ). And you don't want to beat it up or it might break. But I've used this a few times and it works great for making discs or wedges. Nice little thing at a good price. But oh, oh. one of the wires broke. Even if one is missing, it still works pretty well. For the price, I don't think you can really complain. I assume you get what you pay for?
