Chemical Guys HOL_201 Black Maintenance Review

Very easy to use, apply and wash. Cleans well with the supplied MF cloths. Complements the black color and looks shiny. However, I don't think this product costs more than $70.1. No hydrophobic effect. After 5-7 days everything was gone. Marketing at its finest. There are many other products that offer similar or better features at a lower price. It's a decent product, but you shouldn't pay more than $90 for a decent polish/wax.

I missed painting my car for about 2 years. A few months ago I bought a black paint care kit to paint my black VW GTI and BMW X3 but only recently got around to trying these products. The Black Light Glaze worked great after a small color adjustment. However, when I opened the black wax paste, the product inside turned into a thick/soupy mass resembling cottage cheese. Remember I kept it (just the wax paste, not the glaze) in the fridge in my garage for a few months before opening it for the first time. So this may be due to user error…
