Fully functional and definitely does its job! I don't like the color and light weight and the fact that it's plastic and cheap, but for the price it does the job. Disassembly was a bit difficult for me, and I broke off a small piece of the plate that the cherries are sitting on. The blades are sharp and the movement and action is quick to pop the cherries. It brightens up a fruit salad and makes eating cherries company. I warn you, fresh pitted cherries in a bowl are quickly eaten by everyone!

At the moment it's a pretty good cherry stone. I haven't used it yet. I have 20 pounds. Cherries to make a pit for a wine recipe and that seems to be what one uses. It will take time to peel that many cherries. but I agree with that and I thought it would be ok to hold off a bit especially when the price comes down as it wasn't as expensive as some of the larger and more capable pitters I've seen out there. When I saw that, I thought there weren't any cherry pits left. This block holds 6, is easy to clean and when full, one squeeze and your cherries are pitted! I learned this the hard way listening to my blender trying to grind up the skipped pits that didn't cut through. So after using the pit I cut the cherry in half just to make sure not to hit the pit. don't sit on your side.
