It worked! on keyless entry systems

followed tutorial on youtube how to program my volt. Simply. Worked perfectly. I got a metal key from a Chevy dealer. They copied the metal key from my old $20 keychain.

Pros
  • looks good
Cons
  • long time

The best deal on a quality 2013 Chevy Volt keychain!

Perfect for my old broken Chevy Volt keychain. To this replacement I was able to add a metal key from the old one. He could also program my 2013 Volt. Works perfectly. I plan to buy more!

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • Some bugs

Works as advertised

Looks the same as the factory remote. Easy to program using the included website instructions. Checked by watching videos on YouTube before launch. Easy cut on local ACE gear for $5. I would recommend this for a 2011 Chevy Volt.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Approximately

Batteries read above 3V but were bad

After 1 of 2 of my original key fobs died I bought this radio key, on first try after programming it was wobbly, reprogrammed and the battery exchanged for an old PSU 2 or 3 times with the same result. I thought the new fob was bad and was going to return it anyway when a new batch of batteries arrived and now the new fob works just like the original.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The locksmith who cut me this key warned me that many non-original blank keys don't work and that I shouldn't but these are online but everything worked fine. The key came with a small card that directed us to online instructions on how to 'pair' the key to the car. The instructions were in clear English and were easy to follow. All the locksmith did was cut out the mechanical key.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Something's wrong

The product comes with a dead battery

I bought this and had the flip key sharpened by a local locksmith. I was then able to program it directly into my Volt. I had a real programming problem, but once I replaced the battery that came with the device, the programming ran fine. I would give this product five stars apart from the dead battery that came with it. No battery would be better than a dead battery. I've just ordered a second fob and I guarantee you I'll check the battery before I program it.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Annoying

It worked! fits anti theft

The 'instructions' for this was just a link to a website where I put my make/model/year and then nothing. The website was not working but the website was very responsive in chat. In the meantime, I got hold of the online user manual and programmed the key fob using a simple procedure. It was so easy with no actual confirmation in the car that it worked before I found out! I now have a spare fob that unlocks and starts my Chevy Volt. I haven't been to a locksmith to carve a physical key into the

As promised, but with an EXTRA BONUS!

Bought to replace ours which had worn buttons. I followed the flashing instructions in the manual for my 2015 Volt and it worked like clockwork. I was afraid that I would have to carry the new keys to the locksmith with my old keys, beg and beg and pay them about $100 to cut the keys down. No! When you open your worn-out key fob you can get a metal piece that is a mechanical key. Then open a new fob, replace the metal key with your old one, and you have a 100% programmed fob with a metal key…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Negative impression
