I usually use a 42 inch needle with a very flexible cable for Magic Loop style knitting (replaces four twin needles). 16" round is the right size for the number of stitches. This #3 needle is usually needed if you do a lot of Fair Isle knitting with fine yarns. So I usually need several of these if I'm doing multiple projects. The Cable has no "memory" which means any kink or kink it has while knitting will disappear when you let go of the needle. I find the cables to be soft and flexible. I…
