I've only been using this cable since January and one side of the cable has already broken. I love Chiagoo but very disappointed!

ChiaoGoo cables are simply the best. This shorter length will probably work better with 4" tips than 5" tips, so I may have to adjust some of these. ;) I love these needles!

I love ChiaGoo needles and think they are the best. I bought an 8" cord to knit the sleeves in the round. Unfortunately, is this does not make sense with 5" needles. It is almost impossible to knit with a cord. Can be used as a complement to longer cords or with shorter needles. Update: Works great with shorts, but the kit already comes with an 8" cable.

8" Cord is designed for use with 4" points for making hats and other small crafts. There is a cord for smaller needlepoints and one for larger needlepoints. I bought these for large needlepoints. As always with Chiaogoo, the cable is well made, flexing easily under any yarn and not sticking to protruding fibers. Make sure you use a roll pin so you don't make the mistake I made when I first started using replaceable needle tips by not using a roll pin. Otherwise, the ends can come loose and snag
