Excellent aggressive grinder

We work in an upscale shop making Porsches and Audis, 90% of our work. I have two other DA grinders (Hutchins & Snap-On) quitting DA which I sue the most. When it comes to cutting and stripping bumpers and hoods, this beast gets the job done much faster. If we sand the bumper with finish sanders it takes 1.5-2 hours and in this case it takes 30 maximum. Worth the price!. I plan to use this to take apart my 72 Nova.

Pros
  • Orbital grinder
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Replaces a similar $275 grinder in our sign shop. Works perfectly!

We use this at a commercial sign shop in place of a $275 unit with a very similar design. For sanding aluminum sheets and canopy frames - works great. Let's see how long it lasts, but if it lasts a year then it will be a lot cheaper to buy this device than a similar "industrial brand" that costs a lot more. The same grinding wheels are used. People who use it are picky - and they're impressed. I didn't tell them the price! :-) UPDATE 12/08/2018. Not only did it last, the guys at the store liked

feels great in your hands for comfort and vibrancy

I was trying to save money on the small one that was $27 and ended up using it once and fully. This works directly on site. feels great in your hands for comfort and vibrancy. All-metal block, even a range of airspeeds. I did some body work with it and got a very good sanding effect. Easily control the orbital rotation by controlling the air and pressure on the grinder. easy to steer around corners and rigging. Recently I did some wood carving and tried it. It really works just as well on wood…
