🎒 ChicoBag Travel Compact Eco-friendly Backpacks Review

We bought this for our daughter who was traveling in Southeast Asia to use as a daily backpack. It is very light, thin and a little flimsy, so it can be easily rolled up and put in a large backpack. While I wouldn't recommend subjecting him to physical abuse, she enjoyed the convenience of locking her large backpack in dormitories and using the backpack while sightseeing. Note that unless the fabric was light and thin enough to fit in a small pocket, it would serve no purpose.

I love this bag. Have had it for about 1 1/2 years. Lightweight, strong enough, comfortable, securely holds all sizes of water bottles (won't fall out when tipped). I love these lightweight travel backpacks from ChicoBag. I've been using one for several years. I got a little too close recently, snagged on a strap and tore the stitching where a strap connects to the bottom of the pack. My wife ended up reattaching my damaged strap, but I took the opportunity anyway and bought a new backpack. The new backpack seems to have added zippers, and my old backpack was missing one side of the chest strap when I bought it years ago. So now I have a new stylish travel

Bought this bag for a trip to Europe recently. It served as an intermediate pocket for my larger Timbuk2 hand luggage. I've used it at the airport, in shops, at the beach, by the pool and in my laundry bag on my return flight. It's light, versatile, very compact and very comfortable (unlike the Sea to Summit bags I've also tried). I just wish it had built in waterproofing. UPDATE! I used this bag almost every day during a 2 week trip that included lots of beach and city walks. It was very comfortable and easily carried everything I needed during the day (food, beach towel, book, water, clothes, etc.). You can't carry a TON of heavy stuff in this bag - the stitching is a little loose - but the fabric itself feels solid. An internal zip pocket would have been very useful, I would love the bag to be waterproof and I was disappointed that the stitching ripped. But…
