My daughter's shoe size is 8 and we ordered 8 and 8.5. Size 8 was too small but size 8.5 fits perfectly. I've been using them for a month in dance classes, there are no loose ends, the profile is perfect. In general we are very happy with them!

The skin on a slipper is wrinkled and ugly. During one session, both slippers stretched. The sole is too small to cover the sole of my foot. When I roll over, the skin squeezes uncomfortably under the arch of my foot. I used them for a session and a half and then gave up.

I have no experience buying ballet or dance equipment, just starting out with a 5 year old. They fit her foot perfectly in length but are very wide. She has a normal foot width and they just look awkward because they have a lot of room on the side. Good for an outfit, but I wouldn't send her to class in one.

size disabled. I looked at the sizing instructions on the discount dance seller's website and they said to go 2 sizes up child to woman and then 1.5 down. My 2 daughters wear size 7 and 5 in kids so I ordered 7.5 and 5.5 in these womens flats. They were too big. They are also too wide despite being "M" wide. I'm going to return the 7.5 and give the 5.5 to my older one and it's still too big.

My daughter is only doing ballet this summer and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on shoes. These are excellent quality LEATHER ballet flats that are cheaper than cheap fake leather ones. Comfortable and also durable.

I ordered a half size down for my daughter as the reviews said they were too big. This is my third return and reorder because they were all too big! My daughter wears a women's size 8 1/2 US and now I order women's size 6! Beware! It was very frustrating and now it took me 1 month to get the apartments. The company should change the "size chart". I ordered a size 11 and 12 based on the sizes we tried at Target I think. They were a bit big. Some cheap leather feels more like leather. Overall not a bad price considering my kids will be growing into it. I would buy this again.

These ballerinas were a great investment and actually better quality than I expected. I bought a pair of flats from Payless for my 3 year old daughter and she wore them around the house for a few minutes and they started falling apart almost immediately so I ordered these as a replacement. Two months into the dance year they are holding on and fitting great. I ordered half a size larger than her actual shoe size and it was just perfect. I would recommend them and buy them again.
